Bale 一家人好像又跑到多明尼克共和國玩了。不知道那邊有什麼魅力，讓他每一年都跑。或許是一個讓他很自在的地方？

我最近換了新工作，雖然工作內容不算太難搞，但是下班時間比較晚（因為上班時間也晚）而預期內的加班也比較多。回到家有時候人就洗個澡就昏過去了。希望適應新工作後可以繼續努力！

Christian Bale has appeared in a variety of films throughout his decades-long career, and in his latest, “Knight of Cups,” he plays a screenwriter who has a series of extra-marital affairs. The film has been described as an experimental drama, and Bale believes viewers will be drawn in.

Director Terrence Malick encouraged his cast to come up with their own dialogue.

“This one evolved to the point where he thought ‘let’s just not even bother having a script,’” Bale said in an interview with ABC News’ Nick Watt, adding: “I was always the one kept most in the dark in the middle of it.”

That approach could affect how the audience views the film, Bale said.

“I think it will be very different to each and every person ... In that sense it’s more interactive. Instead of being told what you’re meant to think,” he said.

Bale has won acclaim for his roles in a range of films -– from big-budget blockbusters to smaller independent projects -- and one of his most memorable acting turns was as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the blockbuster “Dark Knight” trilogy. Actor Ben Affleck is taking on the role in the new reboot, “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Watt has seen the film; Bale hasn’t, and he was curious.

“How is it?” Bale asked.

“Very different from your Batman,” Watt replied.

“It needs to be ... I’ve been watching the trailers with my little boy,” Bale said, adding: “He’s excited. I am, too!”

The 42-year-old British actor got into the acting business as a boy. Among his first roles was an acclaimed turn in Steven Spielberg’s “Empire of the Sun" in 1987.

“I loved the experience of doing it. Even though I was only 12 and I was off in all these countries, which I sort of loved ... The reason I love being an actor is because I’m not playing myself,” he said.

Bale said he wasn’t good at anything else.

“It’s the only thing I know how to do as well ... I left school really early and I never listened anyway,” he said.

Christian Bale Wins Best Actor in a Comedy - 2016 Critics' Choice Awards

恭喜 Christian Bale 贏得了 Critics' Choice Awards 的喜劇類型最佳演員。雖然覺得 The Big Short 被定義為喜劇有點怪怪的，不過 The Big Short 確實有很多地方蠻有趣的，至少我看的那場有好幾段都有人跟我一起笑。能把複雜的金融知識用簡單的方式說明，The Big Short 真的蠻優秀的。

所以，The Big Short 也贏得了最佳喜劇獎囉。Bale 在上台領自己的獎時，跟 Sibi 姐姐先親了嘴，又跟導演 Adam Mckay 親嘴，還跟編劇 Charles Randolph 親嘴，一路親上去。領最佳喜劇獎時繼續親。是說，Critics' Choice Award 跟金球一樣也灌大家酒喝嗎？XD

Bale最近跑了幾場頒獎典禮，都是比較低調一點的頒獎典禮。以上的影片是他去參加 AFI 頒獎典禮的入場模樣，當然這個獎項他也到手囉。在會場裡面，他還與 Steven Spielberg 伯伯一起拍照（畢竟是他的教父啊），也與 Ridley Scott 伯伯打了招呼，還跟 Star Wars 的現任導演 JJ Abrams 打招呼（不會是想叫導演下一集讓他插個花拿光劍吧？）

這是 Palm Springs Film Festival 的頒獎典禮，The Big Short 獲得了最佳團隊演技的獎項。這跟當年 The Fighter 的感覺很像，就是演員只要都水準以上，電影本身的品質也好，就很容易拿到這個獎項。影片中，Bale 開始說話時台下就蠻嗨的。不過，Mr. Bale，您的話真多啊。

The Big Short 出現在 4:30 之後。

開始步入獎季，Bale 開始忙碌了。他除了被金球獎提名之外，他也被英國奧斯卡提名最佳男配角。只是不知道他會不會為了典禮回英國出席。

So we came to see The Big Short with a Q&A with Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Finn Wittrock, Jeremy Strong, and Director Adam McKay. Poor Christian was bombarded by Batman fans outside!! Madess! #thebigshort was freaking genius!

Went to a sag screening of #thebigshort and it was phenomenal. Not only did the cast and crew succeed at making a traditionally obscure and confusing topic so incredibly entertaining, it more importantly raised awareness for a HUGE issue most of us including myself didn't know much about. Knowledge is power. Corruption will prevail until we know enough to start making a change. We need more love in this world--go watch the film! Really inspired by the spectacular performances of everyone in the cast esp #christianbale #stevecarrell #ryangosling. Glad art can inform social change :)

This was the most fun Q&A I attended that featured the ensemble cast of The Big Short - Christian Bale, Ryan Goslin, Steve Carell, Jeremy Strong, Finn Wittrock, and Dir. Adam McKay. Understood it significantly better the second time around.

Not the Best pic of the "The Big Short" cast but it's something. Lol. Before the panel I got to talk to Steve Carell and Finn Wittrock. And after the panel I was within inches of Christian Bale, unfortunately people shoving things in his face to autograph so I decided to leave him alone but he was very gracious to the fans.
