「我看過很多演員，他們對角色充滿熱情、奉獻自我，並會創出一番氣象。這就是 Christian Bale。當他演出某個角色，他就成為那個角色，比如說：他會專注於美國南方的腔調，而且他會整天二十四個小時都以南方腔起居。那困擾著他的妻子，也讓他的孩子開始對他說『爹地，你講話的方式怎麼那麼奇怪？』但他還是維持他的原則，所以，他的演技甚至還擾亂了家人。」

“I saw actors who have a passionate commitment and can really go for something. That’s Christian Bale. When he picks up a role, that’s it. I mean, he will nail the Southern accent, for example. And, he will be living with that accent 24 hours a day. It makes his wife crazy; his kid starts to say, ‘Daddy, why are you talking so funny?’ He won’t break it. So, he confuses even his family.”
