Christian Bale Donates His One Pair of Shoes to Small Steps Project (UK)

這位大哥做善事向來低調，做善事的對象通常也都是比較低調小型的，而且似乎夫妻倆特別注意孩童生存權。這次，他參與了一個英國的慈善事業，叫做 Small Steps Project。這個慈善事業會請名人捐獻鞋子在上面簽名，並拿來競標，競標所得之後會用來救助生活在貧民窟的小孩。

Bale 捐的鞋子是今年年初夫妻倆參加英國奧斯卡時穿的鞋子，鞋子的廠牌是 Tod's（不熟這是怎樣的廠牌），鞋子的大小是 11 號。雖然我跟名牌都不熟，但從照片上看來，這鞋子一定是雙好鞋，競標前應該就已經很貴了。

Christian Bale is a Small Steps Project Donor, who has kindly signed and donated his shoes to the 2014 Celebrity Shoe Auction, to raise funds for children living on rubbish dumps around the world.

Christian Bale is an English actor, who has starred in both blockbuster films and smaller projects from independent producers and art houses.  The springboard was being cast in Empire of the Sun at the age of 13.  American Psycho, The Machinist, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises followed.  He received critical acclaim and won several awards, his role for The Fighter. In 2013, he starred in the comedy-drama American Hustle, for which he received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations.

Christian wore these shoes at this year's BAFTA's!  Now he has personally signed them for Small Steps Project and you!

They are patent leather black lace-up shoes, signed by Christian on the sole.
