Bale Confirmed He Will be Up for Batman 3

英國雜誌 Total Film June Issue（可怕，英國雜誌跑真快，現在就已經是六月份了）的訪談中，Bale 證實他已經簽了第三集 Batman 的約。以下是訪談內容。

Total Film : 現在問可能有點早，不過可以跟我們談談第三集的 Batman 會承接哪些劇情？

Bale : 第三集勢必要有個好劇本。在 The Dark Knight 之後，你不能做出令人失望的續集。我把這個問題交給 Chris (Nolan)，所有的決定權都在他。他口風向來很緊！我們曾內部討論過第三集的內容，不過在那之前他會先去製作另外一部電影 [Inception, 與 Leonardo Dicaprio 合作]。就讓我們靜觀其變吧。我喜歡聽他人談說「沒有人可以做出好的第三集。」然後我就可以回答說「好，讓我們做出第三集，讓我們來證明他們的話是錯的。我們上！」所以，當然我很想拍第三集。不過，只有我能這樣說，而且事實上，我也非拍不可！因為我已經簽約了！Chris 還沒簽。如果他不想拍第三集，那我就慘了。


TF : It's early days yet, but do you have insight into what third Batman movie could entail?

CB : It's got to be that right story. You can't make something like The Dark Knight and then come out with something disappointed. I leave that completely to Chris. That's his decision. He's a man that doesn't reveal himself very easily! We have had discussions about it ourselves, but he's making another movie in between [Inception, with Leonardo Dicaprio]. We shall see. I would like it if people say, "You'll never make a good third movie". I say "OK let's make a third movie in that case, let's prove them wrong. Let's do that." So of course I'd like to. But that's just me. And that fact is, I have to! I've signed up! Chris doesn't. So I'm in a bit of a fix if he says he doesn't want to!
